What is the difference compared to a 3D printer?

Working principle:

3D printer: Builds three-dimensional structures by layering materials (plastic, metal powder, ceramics, etc.) and solidifying them through heating or chemical reactions. This is an additive manufacturing process.

Five-axis CNC machining center: Uses precise multi-axis cutting operations to remove material from raw stock (usually metal) to create parts. This is a subtractive manufacturing process, capable of producing complex, high-precision components.

Accuracy and surface quality:

3D printer: Generally lower accuracy and surface quality compared to traditional machining, limited by technology and materials.

Five-axis CNC machining center: Achieves very high accuracy and excellent surface quality, suitable for precision machining.

What are the specifications of the Xmachine?

Xmachine is a desktop five-axis machining center with the following main specifications:

  • Worktable size: XXX × XXX mm
  • Spindle speed: up to XXX rpm
  • Machining accuracy: ±0.01 mm
  • Supported materials: metal, plastic, wood, etc.
